EmacArtwork has evolved over the years, but at its core, it’s all about my passion for art and creativity. I’m an educator by trade and a painter turned cookie artist by accident.

My Journey

Art has always been my passion. I painted my way through college and trained to be an art teacher. I sometimes wish I would have gone the starving artist route, but I get hangry! When I became a mom, I traded my garage studio for a smaller, warmer, and most importantly, toddler-proof studio inside my home. That’s where my love of oil pastels grew, and my home and pet portrait commissions began. I like to think my art enjoys its life more outside of our attic!

The Sweet Side

Baking took me by surprise. What started as a favor quickly turned into an artistic pursuit all its own. I’m now two years into this sweet journey and loving every minute! From experimenting with dough and icing consistencies to designing and executing new decorating techniques, life as a cookie artist is the perfect mix of art and sugar.
